The vision of the International Union of Romanian Women for women of the world, their families, and supporters (UNIFERO Inc.) – a nonprofit organization registered in Atlanta, Georgia, USA in 2007 and active ever since (please see the attached documents) – is to inspire our world community to strive and build a world that heals through excellence, volunteering, empathy, and understanding while gaining education, self-confidence building, networking, and support, across all ages, genders, and in every walk of life.

The mission of our organization is to create a network that empowers and honors our family members and supporters for the future, by engaging each one through their limitless skills and addressing all their needs and interests.

Both the mission and vision of UNIFERO Inc. are represented on a legal basis by its Clubs and /or branches in the DIASPORA and Romania. 

UNIFERO Clubs will function and perform their activities under the umbrella of the organization, by following its articles listed in the Statuses (See www.unifero.net), as well as the assigned directions, without discrimination among the members and/or nonmembers and participants in the events.

Each UNIFERO Club will create a website.

The Motto will be: Nobody is a child of a lesser God

thus, promoting recognition of equality with no discrimination of any kind.

The Clubs will have a Director and a designated group of volunteers. The Director’s name and contact must be made available to the group of volunteers as well as on the Club website.

The Clubs: will accept donations in support of their different events.

The Clubs will initiate activities and invite vendors from the community to display their business, performers, and professionals in different fields.

The Clubs: will maintain a log with the participants’ name, address, and contact info.

The Clubs will hold active workshops on healthy living, medical issues (mental health, diabetes, etc.), relaxation (Yoga, fashion, and art classes)

The Clubs will develop presentations of high interest for the community like:

  • Different performances/ concerts /mini folk festivals/presentation of movies and books/art exhibitions to help preserve and present Romanian culture to other communities.
  • Language support for young people through brief conversations, lessons/spelling/word meaning contests, and use of the UNIFERO Inc. MANUAL
  • Monthly birthday celebrations
  • Field trips
  • Observation of different holidays; Community Day
  • Games and health (Red Cross presentations – Health for Everybody)
  • Support in special critical situations or needs for seniors/families; volunteering activities (adopting a park/a street, etc.)
  • Exchange/share of events with other clubs of the kind

The Clubs will have their activities delivered in different locations (e.g., libraries, schools, consulates, etc.), announced ahead of time, and approved by local authorities, as well as by the main organization.

The Clubs will be in touch with the mass media.

The Clubs will always inform the Organization of their planned activities that need to be approved by the President, the Secretary-General, and the members of UNIFERO BD.

The Club Directors: will participate in the annual Conferences of the Organization, and any other events generated.
